Lee Bourgeault

Registered Psychologist

Lee is a Registered Psychologist experienced in counselling, psychological assessment, and research. Her focus is working together to achieve your goals for change, whatever that might be. Common goals include addressing symptoms of anxiety, depression, loss, academic stress, low motivation, and reprocessing trauma.

Lee works with all age groups and has particular interest and experience working with youth and young adults. She offers evening, weekend, and weekday appointments in-person in Lethbridge and over the phone across Alberta.

Lee’s education includes a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from the University of Regina and a Masters of Counselling Psychology from McGill University. In addition to her counselling and assessment work, Lee is a Clinical Research Associate with the University of Regina’s Online Therapy Unit.

  • Counselling

    Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) is a tool-based treatment proven effective in treating anxiety, depression, phobias, panic, work and academic stress, and more. CBT, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivation Interviewing, and somatic approaches to trauma are all part of Lee’s practice.

  • Psychological Assessment

    Psychoeducational assessments are designed to assess academic and intellectual abilities to understand a person’s potential, provide strategies to support their learning, and may result in a diagnosis. They include standardized measures, observations, history taking, and interviews.
